Ferrari repair: Aluminium damage near the fuel cap
Precision repair of aluminium bodywork around the fuel cap of a Ferrari. Expert reconstruction of the fender shape and the complex curve around the fuel filler neck.
Even minor damage can pose a major technical challenge on a Ferrari. In this project, there were unsightly dents in the aluminium right next to the fuel cap. The complexity lay in the fact that both the large surface of the rear wing and the sleek curve around the fuel filler opening had to be restored to their original shape.
With care and craftsmanship, we worked on the aluminium panel so that the transition to the fuel cap looks seamless and as good as new again. By restoring the correct tension in the material, everything fits together perfectly once more. We have now restored this Ferrari to its former glory and it is driving around as good as new.
