Aluminium fuel tank for the classic Fiat Multipla

Sometimes a part is so rare that restoring the original is no longer possible. That was the challenge with this Fiat Multipla — obviously, the characteristic older model. For this special classic, we have manufactured a completely new aluminium fuel tank.

Replicating a fuel tank requires extreme precision to maintain the original fit within the Multipla’s compact engine compartment. By choosing aluminium, the tank is not only lightweight but also permanently protected against internal corrosion (rust), which is a major advantage for classic cars that are not driven daily.

We shaped and pressed this tank by hand, ensuring it was ready for installation straight away. It is this kind of bespoke work that we, as restorers, engage in every day: keeping historic vehicles on the road using modern techniques.
